For the fourth time, the Precision Machining Technology program at Copiah-Lincoln Community College has received a grant from the Gene Haas Foundation.
The $ 8,000 grant will help support Co-Lin precision machining students through scholarships. Grant funds are intended to promote careers in manufacturing and machining and to help students become skilled machinists.
âThe scholarships we receive from the Gene Haas Foundation are very important to our students and our program,â said program coordinator Bo Johnson. âIt helps alleviate some of the financial burden on our students so they can focus on upgrading their trade and preparing for the job market. We are grateful for our continued partnership with Haas.
