The storm will bring snow accumulation to Bangor + Downeast on Tuesday

Roads could be slippery for much of Tuesday as a storm could bring up to half a foot of snow to parts of the Downeast.
the National Weather Service calls for another round of snowfall for much of Maine. Snow is expected after midnight Monday through Tuesday morning. Most stable snow is expected throughout the morning, then tapering off to showers through the afternoon. The Bangor area could see 2 to 3 inches of new snowfall. Southeastern areas could see up to half a foot as flurries will linger longer into the afternoon.
Northern regions will see less snow from the storm. Areas north of the Katahdin region will likely see 1-3 inches of new snowfall.
The sun prevails for much of the week, with the next chance of snow Friday.
